Influential wrestler Dwayne 'The Rock
' Johnson has died in hospital following a multi car accident near Miami, Florida, police say.
Johnson was driving home on Freeway 33 after visiting friends when his SUV swerved into the wrong lane and was hit by an oncoming car. The other driver was killed instantly and Johnson was badly injured, he was rushed to hospital but there was nothing doctors could do to reverse the terminal brain damage and internal bleeding.

Police don't think drugs or alcohol were factors in the fatal crash. Followers of Dwayne Johnson on Twitter have been suggesting that he was Tweeting while driving, and the distraction lead to the fatal accident.
The Rock was known for his signature finishing moves The People's Elbow and Rock Bottom. He held the WWF/WWE championship on 7 occasions, most recently in 2002.
He also appeared in several blockbuster movies such as The Rundown, Be Cool, Walking Tall, and most recently Fast Five.
Dwayne Johnson was loved by many fans around the world, he will be remembered as one of the best wrestlers of the last century. Thousands of fans have expressed their shock and grief on social networking websites such as Twitter, with famous people contributing and offering support to the friends and family as well. Lifelong friend Steve Austin Tweeted 'I can't believe he is really gone...Rest In Peace'. Dwayne Johnson was 39 years old.
